Subscription Cancellations

Travel Snail Mail operates as a subscription service only - all purchases are recurring subscriptions that deliver monthly travel letters and photo prints.

How Subscriptions Work

When you subscribe to Travel Snail Mail:

  • Monthly subscriptions: You're charged automatically each month until you cancel
  • Your payment details are stored securely through Shopify
  • You'll receive one package per month as long as your subscription is active

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through these methods:

  1. Email cancellation: Send us an email at travelsnailmailclub@gmail.com
    • Include your name and email address used for the subscription
    • We'll confirm your cancellation within 24-48 hours
  2. Shopify account: Manage your subscription through your Shopify customer account
    • Look for cancellation links in your order confirmation emails
    • Or log into your customer account on our website

When Cancellations Take Effect

  • Monthly subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
    • Example: If you're billed on the 15th and cancel on the 20th, you'll receive that month's package but won't be charged again

Important Timing

  • Monthly billing cutoff: The 20th of each month
    • Cancel before the 20th to avoid the next month's package preparation
    • Cancel after the 20th, and your package is likely already being prepared
  • No partial month refunds: If you cancel mid-month, you won't receive a prorated refund

What Happens After Cancellation

  • You'll receive a cancellation confirmation email
  • No more charges to your payment method
  • You'll still receive any packages you've already paid for
  • Your customer account remains active (in case you want to resubscribe later)

Resubscribing

Changed your mind? You can always resubscribe:

  • Use the same email to maintain your customer history
  • Choose any subscription option available at that time
  • You'll start fresh with the current month's adventure

Auto-Renewal Information

  • Monthly subscriptions: Continue until you cancel (no auto-renewal needed)

Special Circumstances

Moving internationally? Address changes? Payment issues?

Email us before canceling - we might be able to help! We're experienced with international logistics and want to keep you on your travel journey with us.

What We Can't Cancel

Once a monthly package enters our preparation and shipping process (usually around the 22nd), we cannot cancel that specific delivery, but we can still cancel future deliveries.
