Free Worldwide Shipping 

Great news! Shipping is completely free to anywhere in the world and is included in your subscription price.

How We Ship

Because I'm always traveling, your letters are mailed from wherever I happen to be in the world that month! This means:

  • Letters might come from Mongolia one month, Ecuador the next
  • Each package is like getting mail from a friend abroad
  • We use local postal services in each country
  • All packages are sent via standard international post

Shipping Schedule

  • Monthly sign-ups close: 20th of each month
  • Letters typically ship: Around the 22nd of each month
  • If you subscribe after the 20th: You'll receive next month's letter as your first package

Example: Subscribe on September 21st → Your first letter ships in late October

Delivery Times

Please be patient! Since we ship internationally from various locations:

  • Within the same region: 7-14 business days
  • International delivery: 14-28 business days
  • Remote locations: Up to 35 business days

These are just estimates and may vary. 

Delivery times depend on:

  • Local postal efficiency where we're shipping from
  • Your country's postal service
  • Customs processing times
  • Weather and other factors beyond our control

What's Not Included

To keep your subscription affordable:

  • No tracking information - Letters are sent as standard mail
  • No insurance - We trust in the postal system's reliability
  • No expedited shipping - All letters travel at regular postal speed

International Considerations

  • Duties/taxes: Very unlikely for letters, but any customs fees are your responsibility
  • Address accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate - we can't control international postal systems!

Lost or Delayed Mail

While postal services are generally reliable worldwide, sometimes things happen:

  • Delayed mail: Please wait up to 35 business days before contacting us
  • Lost mail: If your letter doesn't arrive within a reasonable time, email us - we're happy to help
  • Moving? Email us your new address before the 20th of any month to update it for future shipments

What We Can't Control

We're not responsible for:

  • Postal delays or strikes
  • Customs processing times
  • Extreme weather affecting mail delivery
  • Incorrect addresses provided by subscribers
  • Local postal service issues

Holiday Shipping

During major international holidays:

  • Letters may be delayed due to reduced postal services
  • We'll do our best to ship on schedule, but some delays are inevitable
  • December letters may arrive in early January due to holiday mail volume

Package Contents

Each package contains:

  • One printed travel letter (1-2 pages)
  • One high-quality photo print (5"x7")
  • One sticker
  • Sent in an envelope
